Provender Brown Perth Deli
Perthshire Perthshire Perthshire

With a home in the heart of Perthshire - and as a wee aside, in one of Perth city's loveliest streets - Provender Brown is extremely fortunate to have some of Scotland's best-loved artisan food and drink producers right here on our doorstep.

From ruby red berries in Summer, to honey made rich with the heather from our hills, golden rapeseed oil from the farmlands and gin distilled not 5 minutes away, we have an abundance of quality, award-winning produce.

One of the reasons for this is the variety of rich, agricultural farm in Perthshire; the quality of ingredients is second to none and as an area our farmers have been supported in their endeavours to turn producer thanks to the successful Perth Farmers Market which has been running for over 20 years.

As an independent, family-owned deli we see these farmers, producers and cooks as our kinfolk. Like us, they have experienced challenging times through lockdown, having to adapt, duck and dive to keep the show on the road.

We are immensley proud of the role we play in helping these amazing businesses month round, year in, and hopefully, pandemic out!   Now more than ever local business needs our support - both mine and yours - and we are therefore delighted to be bringing you this Perthshire shopping expereince here on Provender Brown.

All of the products featured have been made right here in Perthshire with items such as Summer Harvest and Dalchonzie excellent examples of field to fork. Have a browse, have a shop and if you feel as though you want to try them all why not treat yourself to a Perthshire hamper?

I was recently asked by Perth's Place Management team to do a short video showcasing the huge range of Perthshire Produce we have on offer here in Provender Brown. It really highlighted to me just how many amazing local artisans we have in stock.

Needless to say, I did pour a large measure of the Perth Gin when the filming was over!
