15 Year Old Balsamico

Leonardi's balsamics are traditionally produced from the cooked must of Trebbiano grapes and are aged over many years in casks of precious woods (including ash, mulberry, oak, chestnut and juniper).  This one is aged for 15 years in a series of wooden barrels. It becomes thicker and lusciously syrupy with age, making it a perfect finishing vinegar. 

Under no circumstances are Leonardi's vinegars ever blended - inferior quality, commercial balsamics are blended with as much as 80 percent wine vinegar.
