Summer is here and we're feeling very much in a picnic mood! That coud be the glorious sunny day currently filling the skies as we type (about time, I hear you say!) or it could be becasue we're awash with delicious new products that are perfect for enjoying on a warm day.
If you've been following us for a while, you'll know that that entire PB team are lovers of a picnic snack and July 2022 has brought us plenty to choose from. In fact, there was much excitement as the first order of Dukeshill Ham arrived this week.
We've also taken inspiration from National Cheese & WIne Day on 25th July - check out our new bundle of 4 cheeses of the month and a bottle of wine for only £27.50. Add a blanket, sunshine and some music and you have yourself a perfect afternoon!
This is the Dukeshill version of a classic Italian Carbonara. The traditional way to have carbonara is using Guanciale or Pancetta. However, outside of Italy it is just as delicious using a smoked bacon like their dry cured smoked streaky bacon. The fat and flavour is perfect for cutting through the natural creaminess of this dish (never add cream!).
