Sweet Love

The month of love is here and we're delighted to be introducing a mouthwatering choice of luxury chocolate boxes and mini treats from one of our newest suppliers, Sarah Bunton. Sarah has been producing award-winning chocolates in her workshop in the Cambrian Mountains of Mid-Wales, in the picturesque village of Devil’s Bridge, since 2009. We started stocking her chocolates before Christmas and they've gone down so well with our customers that we’ve added to the range for Valentine’s and Mother’s Day.

Using the finest ingredients, Sarah skilfully hand-makes beautiful chocolates and fudge which combine classic flavours with her own special touches to create delicious and innovative results.

How much do you love those little hedgehogs and popping frogs?

Salty Love

We've two new sea salt suppliers this month and a fabulous blog all about the benefits of this wonderful ingredient. East Neuk Sea Salt boasts one, pure and flavourful salt from just down the road in Fife, whilst the Dorset Sea Salt Company has spent the past 5 years hand-harvesting sea salt from Britain’s purest waters along the Jurassic coastline and adding a punch of fabulous flavours to the their mix.

Jammy Love

Call me biased - the lovely artisans at Pittenweem Preserves use strawberries from my brother-in-law's farm! - but this is one of the nicest jams I've had for a very long time. Husband and wife team Michael & Fiona Audsley work in a dedicated kitchen in The Jam Shack situated in the garden of their seaside home in the beautiful fishing village of Pittenweem in the East Neuk of Fife.

Fiona has been making preserves for over 35 years and in 2017 a local shop asked if they would sell to them and Pittenweem Preserves was born. All of the preserves are made traditionally in maslin pans in batches of no more than 14 jars. They source the fruit and vegetables from local farms and gardens where possible with only top quality produce used. Which is probably why in 2020 they were awarded Gold for Best Product for their Raspberry Jam at the Scottish Speciality Food Show!
