We are huge fans of a good cider here in Provender Brown. Whether its served ice cold in a long glass on a hot summer's day or gently warmed with cinnamon sticks to enjoy in front of a wood fire, this simple drink is surely one of life's simplest pleasures.
We've recently taken stock of a new Perthshire Cider, Diggers Pet Nat, and it got us to thinking that we now have quite the collection! Here are some of our favourites for you to enjoy.
Cider is an alcoholic beverage made from the fermented juice of apples. Interestingly, the UK has the world's highest per capita consumption, as well as the largest cider-producing companies. Perry is a similar product to cider made from fermented pear juice.
