The Chianti Classico Riserva is the best selection of the estate grown Sangiovese, especially selected bunch per bunch from the best zones of the vineyards which have a low yield of 1,5kg grapes per vine. It is a pure Sangiovese wine, which expresses tradition and elegance of our territory. It’s a wine with a long ageing potential, a robust expression of the Nardi Viticoltori terroir.::::DENOMINATION: Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG::::PRODUCTION AREA: Castellina In Chianti::::VINEYARDS: Sangiovese 100%::::COLOUR: bright ruby red with bold tones.::::AROMA: The nose is fragrant, fresh with pleasant scents of red fruit, licorice, currant and a slight touch of::::vanilla.::::TASTE: It expresses a pleasant sweetness on the palate. It is round, soft and sapid, with a tannin that::::becomes increasingly velvety with the passing of time. Acidity and persistence characterise a very elegant::::aftertaste.::::::AGING: 16-18 months in big Italian oak::::BOTTLE AGEING: at least 12 months::::PAIRING: roasted red and white meat, but is very well suited to poultry, rabbit and various cheeses.
