Long Beach Chenin Blanc, Robertson, South Africa
The Robertson wine district produces wines of quality and style. The Long Beach wines are expressive, open and easy drinking wines which represent incredible value for money. Perfect party wines!
The Robertson Winery is nestled in the Robertson Valley in the Western Cape of South Africa. The town of Robertson was founded by a Scottish Minister, Dr William Robertson. The life source of the Robertson Valley and one of the most important rivers in the Western Cape, is the Breede River, which is vital to the winery and community. Historically, the Robertson 'Beach' was a place for all townsfolk to gather, share the week’s stories, swim in the Breede River and bask in the sun.
The Long Beach Chenin Blanc has a full bodied palate with distinct varietal flavours of tropical fruit, ripe green figs and melon. A mouth-watering thread of acidity leads to a crisp clean aftertaste.
